PARKANSON PK650DMS SEMI-AUTOMATIC DOUBLE-MITRE BANDSAW
The Parkanson PK650DMS is a heavy-duty, semi-automatic twin-column bandsaw designed for accurate double-mitre cutting of beams, pipes, tubes, solid bar and structural steel.
Its swivelling saw head cuts angles on either side of 90°, allowing opposite mitres to be completed without turning long or heavy workpieces. This makes the PK650DMS particularly well suited to structural-steel fabrication, where repositioning large beams can be difficult and time-consuming.
The rigid twin-column construction and precision linear guideways provide excellent stability throughout the cutting cycle. A five-degree blade inclination reduces the initial impact on beam flanges and hollow sections, helping produce smoother cuts while reducing stress on the blade.
NC/manual mitre positioning and a digital angle display allow the operator to set cutting angles quickly and accurately. The saw’s pivot point is positioned at the intersection of the blade and fixed vice jaw, helping maintain a consistent cutting reference when the head angle is changed.
