TW1440 Lathe
CAPITAL TW1440 PRECISION CENTRE LATHE – 360 × 1000MM CAPACITY
The Capital TW1440 is a versatile precision centre lathe designed for general engineering, maintenance, repair and workshop machining applications.
Offering a 360mm swing over the bed, 1000mm between centres and a generous 52mm spindle bore, the TW1440 provides excellent capacity in a compact, practical machine. Its broad spindle-speed range, powered longitudinal and cross feeds, quick-change toolpost and two-axis digital readout make it suitable for both one-off components and regular workshop production.
Powered by a 1.5kW, 240V single-phase motor, the TW1440 can be installed in workshops where three-phase power is unavailable.
The machine is suitable for facing, parallel turning, taper turning, drilling, boring, grooving, knurling and metric thread cutting across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
